Watercraft Storage Program
Aloha Mauna Lani Property Owners,
The Mauna Lani Resort Association is pleased to announce a lottery for slips in the MLRA Watercraft Storage Program which will be available for the second half (June through December) of the 2026 calendar year. This program is intended to provide “near-beach” assigned slip storage for craft owned by active watercraft users who are current Mauna Lani Residential Property Owners. Participants in the program must agree to all Terms and Conditions, sign a full release of liability form and provide a prorated non-refundable slip payment of $300 (annual payment $600) +GET for a “boat” slip or $150 (annual payment $300) +GET for a “SUP” slip. Note that inflatable watercraft are not eligible for outdoor storage. Resale or transfer of slips under this Program is strictly prohibited.
We have a limited number of watercraft storage slips located at the top of the Beach Club parking lot which will be available for assignment by lottery for the second half of the 2026 calendar year. Interested Mauna Lani Property Owners should email info@mlraonline.com to receive an application request packet for lottery participation.
In addition to the restrictions listed in the Terms & Conditions of the Program, please be aware that:
- Applicants must already own their watercraft and supply the watercraft type along with accurate width, height and length on their application. These measurements are crucial as the lottery pool for each unassigned slip will be from applications whose supplied watercraft type and measurements should allow the watercraft to fit into the slip.
- Application request packets are limited to one per owned Mauna Lani Property. Existing participants in the program are precluded from applying for an additional slip assignment associated with the property listed with their current slip assignment.
- SUP slips may only be used to store SUPs. “Boat” slips may only be used to store kayaks, OCs and similar “boats”. SUPs may not be placed into “Boat” slips.
- Applicants who receive conditional slip assignment through the lottery process (or their designed on-island representative) must be available to meet with a MLRA representative at the storage racks with their watercraft prior to June 15th, 2026 to confirm that the watercraft will fit into the assigned slip or their conditional acceptance may be revoked.
- Applicants whose watercraft has been verified as fitting into their assigned slip must remit payment in full by June 15th, 2026 to receive their 2026 watercraft decal or their conditional acceptance may be revoked.
All application request packets must be returned to MLRA by 5pm HST on Friday May 15, 2026.
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have.
